Former Cambridge professor Jason Arday found dead

Metropolitan Police officers were called by the London Ambulance Service.

British academic Jason Arday, who resigned from the University of Cambridge last week amid a high-profile plagiarism storm that featured racism claims, was found dead on Friday, UK media outlets reported.

The death comes a week after his controversial resignation over accusations of plagiarism in his PhD thesis.

Arday had recently resigned in the midst of a plagiarism row.
