US continues talks with Ukraine on Patriot missile production

Russia launched 24 ballistic missiles in an overnight attack on Wednesday, killing at least 17 people.

Kyiv has run out of Patriot interceptors, but allies remain reluctant to supply more.

Twenty-one people were killed and dozens more were injured.

When Russia fires a ballistic missile at Ukraine, air-defence systems have only minutes – sometimes seconds – to detect and intercept the deadly threat.
