Arson suspect arrested over devastating Washington wildfire

Firefighters' bodycam shows Washington home consumed by wildfire as 60,000 evacuated

Aaron F. Farinacci is suspected to have started that fire that has now burned thousands of acres and hundreds of homes.

It was unclear if he has been formally charged or has a lawyer, and the public defender’s office for Spokane County did not immediately respond to a request for comment Monday night.

Together, the wildfires have destroyed at least 700 structures and prompted the evacuation of more than 60,000 people.
