Kuwaiti forces intercept hostile Iranian drones, shrapnel causes material damage
The war — which in its early days President Donald Trump said would last four to five weeks, although he warned it could take longer — has caused the price of fuel to spike and roiled the global economy.
The attack, which took place “several hours ago,” targeted the Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base, Press TV reported early Friday.
Iran's army also claimed Thursday to have attacked U.S. facilities at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain, targeting power generators, navigation systems and support buildings.
There were no immediate reports of any attacks from the Kuwaiti authorities or from U.S. Central Command, which oversees American military operations in the Middle East.
