Cricketer at centre of ‘Clicky Ponting’ cheating scandal suspended by club
Amateur cricketer called 'biggest cheat in cricket history' over batter dismissal
He may no longer want visitors at his workplace after being accused of clicking his fingers in the aim of duping the umpire into giving batters out caught behind during a second XI match on Saturday for the Saltburn Cricket Club against Norton.
The news comes after a Saltburn fielder was accused of clicking his fingers to get a caught-behind wicket and footage of several incidents later went viral on social media.
The first video, posted on Monday evening, was from Saltburn’s second XI victory over Norton in Division Two of North Yorkshire and South Durham Cricket League.
