Darline Graham Nordone jumps into South Carolina Senate race for brother’s seat
The death of longtime Republican Senator Lindsey Graham on July 11 forced Republicans into an emergency special election process and created the state's first open U.S. Senate seat in decades.
Ms. Graham shared her decision in an interview with the Fox News host Sean Hannity.
Graham was sworn into office earlier this month following the sudden death of her brother, becoming the first female senator from the Palmetto State and the first sister ever appointed to the upper chamber.
