Trump Demands ABC & NBC Licenses Revoked After Networks Skip Election Integrity Speech
President Donald Trump lashed out at NBC and ABC during his White House address on Thursday, July 16, after both broadcasters declined to air his speech live.
President Trump's primetime address Thursday night is forcing TV networks to choose: Air potential 2020 election falsehoods, or risk backlash from a White House that's shown little hesitation in confronting the media.
But ABC, CNN and NBC are not planning to pre-empt regularly scheduled programming at 9 p.m. when Mr. Trump speaks.
MS NOW started airing the speech, then cut away for analysis and commentary after 17 minutes on host Jen Psaki’s show.
