Russian Attack on Odesa Kills 3 as Ukraine Strikes Ships in Black Sea
The attacks come as European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen visits Kyiv to discuss cooperation between European and Ukrainian defence industries.
A missile strike hit a residential high-rise, killing three people and injuring at least three others, while rescue workers pulled three residents — including two children — from the damaged building.
Russian attacks on the port of Odesa have caused more fatalities as Moscow increasingly targets shipping infrastructure.
Odesa has declared 16 July a day of mourning for the three people killed in the Russian missile attack on the city on 15 July.
