Carroll’s $5.6 Million from Trump Paid in Sexual-Abuse Case
E. Jean Carroll has collected her $5 million judgment against President Donald Trump, more than three years after a jury found him liable for sexually abusing and defaming her, court records show.
The disbursement of $5,625,005.48 – the damages award plus interest – was ordered by Judge Lewis Kaplan after the Supreme Court rejected Trump’s request to hear the case.
The millions of dollars in damages, plus interest, had been held in a court-controlled bank account since the verdict came down in 2023.
Trump has denied wrongdoing.
