Rescue boats pull survivors from water after deadly tourist speedboat overturns

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday expressed grief over the boat accident involving Indian nationals near Vietnam's Phu Quoc Island, offering condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.

A total of 21 people were rescued and those injured have been hospitalised.

Several tourist vessels operating in the area quickly came to the rescue, finding many passengers trapped inside the speedboat, Vietnam's VnExpress reported.
