Operation Amistad: India boosts aid to quake-hit Venezuela as toll rises

The Indian Air Force in a post on X also shared an update on Operation Amistad.

The mission underscores India's rapid disaster response capabilities as rescue efforts continue following one of Venezuela's deadliest earthquakes in recent years.

The delegation’s departure and coordination follow a review by the National Security Council.

The funds will go towards humanitarian assistance, including search-and-rescue operations, emergency medical care and rapid assessments of humanitarian needs in the worst-hit areas.
