Over 150 petrol stations destroyed in Ukraine over past two months
Ukraine struck a major natural gas processing plant as it continues its offensive against Russian energy infrastructure.
A major landfill fire in the Far East republic of Sakha (Yakutia) burned for a week, blanketing the regional capital Yakutsk in smog and hazardous air pollution.
The plants in question are owned by Rosneft, Russia’s top oil producer and refiner.
Over the past three weeks, fuel prices in the country have risen by 5%, according to The Moscow Times.
