Ex-DUP Leader MP Donaldson Found Guilty of Rape and Assault by UK Jury

While Joe Biden feted Jeffrey Donaldson at the White House during St Patrick’s Day celebrations in March 2024 a handful of detectives back home in Northern Ireland were quietly completing the countdown to his unmasking.

Judge Paul Ramsey summed up the case on Thursday morning before instructing the 12-person jury to begin their deliberations.

Former DUP leader Sir Jeffrey Donaldson has been found guilty at Newry Crown Court of 18 historical sex offences against two women when they were children, including one count of rape, 13 of indecent assault and four of gross indecency.
