Obama Center’s opening draws former presidents, music legends and A-list celebrities

Senators raced to show up for votes in Washington on Wednesday so they could hop on planes to Chicago.

The grand opening event will also feature a star-studded lineup of performers, including Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen and Christina Aguilera.

Ex-presidents Joe Biden, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton are also attending Thursday’s launch of the Obama Presidential Centre in Chicago

The grand opening, which will be livestreamed starting at noon ET today, will feature performances by a roster of legendary singers, including The Roots, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Marc Anthony, American rapper Common and Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder.
