Evian: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday reviewed bilateral cooperation and discussed ways to restore trade and expand economic ties during a meeting on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Evian, France.

The meeting, the first in-person talks between the two leaders in more than 16 months, took place as New Delhi and Washington sought to advance negotiations on a trade agreement while addressing wider geopolitical and energy security concerns.
The prime minister arrived in Paris on Wednesday local time from the French commune of Evian-Les-Bains, where he attended the G7 Summit, to which India was invited as a guest country.
