Air Canada pilot flew 900 flights for 17 years without proper licence, arrested
Geoffrey Wall captained Boeing aircraft for nearly 17 years before a routine credential check revealed he lacked a mandatory license required for captains.
A “complex fraud and forgery investigation” uncovered that a commercial airline pilot who spent the entirety of his career — from 1998 to 2025 — flying planes for Air Canada, had forged a license required of him when he was promoted to captain in 2009.
He is said to have flown more than 900 flights domestically and internationally without the required license.
Despite this, he was the captain for 900 flights between 2009 and 2025.
