Peabo Bryson, Soul Singer Known as the Voice of Love, Dies at 75
A cause of death has not been released publicly, but Bryson suffered a stroke over the weekend and had been receiving medical care.
The singer is perhaps best known for performing the Disney film hits "Beauty and the Beast" and "Whole New World," and his death was confirmed in a statement from his family.
Born and raised in South Carolina, the singer, songwriter and balladeer launched his career with the group Moses Dillard and the Tex-Town Display in the 1970s.
