Trump insists talks ongoing after Tehran halted negotiations over Israel’s Lebanon assault
The U.S. and Iran traded fresh strikes during the weekend as negotiations to end the war have not produced any developments over the past days.
Speaking to ABC News, Trump predicts an Iran deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within a week, describes its threats to halt talks as a "little glitch" related to Israeli strikes in Lebanon.
In a separate post, he explained his talks with the Israeli prime minister and Hezbollah officials.
President Donald Trump urged people to "sit back and relax" while he negotiates with Iran to secure a deal that "will be a good one for the U.S.A."
