Marc Zell to Arutz Sheva: Trump is leading the war and leaving Iran confused

When Donald Trump launched a pre-emptive war on Iran with Israel in February, many in the country hailed the campaign as the crowning triumph of Benjamin Netanyahu’s political and diplomatic career.

It was no secret that Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu had been pushing president Donald Trump to renew the fighting, after playing a key role in persuading him to launch two military campaigns against Iran.

Netanyahu's comments, described to Reuters by two Israeli officials with knowledge of the conversations, come as Israel ‌has largely been left out of talks to reach an initial deal to halt a war that began with joint U.S.-Israeli bombardment.

Israeli leaders have been largely watching the peace talks between the U.S. and Iran from the sidelines.
