Trump Pushes Saudis to Recognize Israel as Part of Iran Deal

Donald Trump issued an update on the talks between US and Iran

Trump is aiming mostly at a historic Saudi-Israeli peace agreement, but the current political climate in the region and the upcoming Israeli election make any near term breakthrough extremely difficult.

Donald Trump got on conference call with leaders from several Arab and Muslim majority countries where he shared a new paradigm in the ongoing peace efforts: If Iran deal reaches fruition, other nations too must recognise Israel and sign the Abraham Accords.

In another long Truth Social post, the US president has called on countries like Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Turkey, Jordan and more to join the Abraham Accords as part of a larger deal with Iran.
