Kimi Antonelli Becomes Only Driver To Acheive First Four Career Wins In Consecutive GPs

Rookie sensation Kimi Antonelli delivered the biggest statement of his Formula One career after securing a stunning victory at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal, capitalizing on teammate George Russell’s heartbreaking retirement in a race packed with drama and championship implications.

Russell dropped out with an engine failure after the title-chasing Mercedes duo put on a show in a thrilling fight through 30 laps, trading the lead several times and coming dangerously close to making contact in the race on Sunday.

The pair had circulated within half a second of one another, trading the lead, repeatedly in what was an exemplary piece of racing.

Oscar Piastri finished out of the points position in Canada as Kimi Antonelli won his fourth consecutive race of 2026.
