Chaotic scenes as US media are penned in by Chinese officials while covering Trump visit

The more than 600-year-old Temple of Heaven in Beijing provided a symbolic setting on Thursday for President Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump as they posed for photos at the site after their closely watched talks earlier in the day.

American and Chinese flags hung along the route that Mr. Trump took from Beijing Capital International Airport.

The US leader was greeted with a gun salute, cheering children and a tour of the stunning 15th Century Temple of Heaven.
