Coldplay's Chris Martin Curating FIFA World Cup 2026 Halftime Show With BTS, Madonna And Shakira
The fusion of Latin, pop and Korean music is regarded as a partnership that best captures sounds from every corner of the world.
The World Cup final, which is scheduled for July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, is already a quadrennial spectacle that in 2022 drew more than 500 million live viewers.
While FIFA World Cups have always featured elaborate opening and closing ceremonies, this will be the first time the final itself includes a Super Bowl-style halftime concert.
The move mirrors the show held during the final of the 2024 Copa America in Miami, when Colombian star Shakira performed at half-time at the Hard Rock Stadium.
