A man from Donetsk is suspected of attempted murder with possible terrorist intent after a stabbing attack in Amsterdam that left five people injured.
Dutch authorities say the suspect deliberately targeted victims in what may have been a politically or ideologically motivated act.
One victim has been released from hospital; the others remain hospitalized but in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing. “We’re looking closely at a possible terrorist motive,” officials said.
