Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi reaffirmed Beijing’s strategic alignment with Moscow during a three-day visit focused on expanding cooperation.
“The principle of ‘friends forever, never enemies’ serves as a solid legal basis for advancing strategic cooperation at a higher level,” Wang told Russia’s state agency RIA.
He also welcomed signs of thawing U.S.-Russia relations, though Ukraine ceasefire talks remain stalled.
China and Russia declared a “no limits” partnership just days before the 2022 invasion of Ukraine — and Beijing shows no sign of stepping back.
