According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine’s victory is important for the USA and Europe. However, according to him, they see it differently.

The West considers it a victory that Russia failed to fully occupy Ukraine.

“This is not enough for us,” the president said. Ukrainians who have lost loved ones and left their homes expect more.

Zelenskyy named two components of “real victory”: the preservation of Ukrainian identity, as well as “security for current and future generations.”

The President emphasized the importance of Ukraine’s accession to the EU and NATO. This will ensure the country’s economic and physical security.

On the other hand, Zelenskyy expressed his fear that the West is still not ready to pursue a real victory. In his opinion, there are fears about the future of Russia without Putin.

The Ukrainian president said that his country will decide when to start negotiations with Russia. He also noted the importance of developing a plan to end the war supported by the international community.
