Peskov answered questions about the tragedy at Crocus City Hall during his daily briefing.
Dmitry Peskov did not give an answer to many questions, referring to the secrecy of the investigation. For example, he did not name the names of the other suspects in the terrorist attack, and refused to comment on the involvement of ISIS in the tragedy.
Peskov also emphasized that the Russian security services are working independently, and there is no question of any outside help. U.S. intelligence is not provided to the Kremlin, he assured, but is transmitted through channels from intelligence service to intelligence service.
Putin’s spokesman also did not answer CNN’s question about torture of the terrorist suspects:
CNN: “It is noticeable in the video from the court that the defendants show signs of violence. Bruises, swollen face. There were videos and photos indicating torture. Can you comment?”
Peskov: “I leave this question unanswered.”
The Kremlin spokesman has no information whether Putin himself plans to visit the site of the tragedy at Crocus City Hall. The only thing Peskov knows for sure is that the terrorist attack did not affect the Russian dictator’s schedule.
