Ukraine’s armed forces are facing a serious shortage of ammunition for air defense systems, with stocks running out until the end of March

Stocks of missiles to protect Ukrainian cities from Russian strikes are rapidly dwindling. Ukraine is facing a difficult choice: instead of trying to shoot down 4 out of 5 Russian targets, as it is doing now, the armed forces will be forced to limit their air defense systems and shoot down only 1 missile out of 5. The Telegraph quoted two Ukrainian officials as saying.

The publication writes that the Russian military is aware of the ammunition shortage in Ukraine and has decided that now is the time to strike a significant blow. And the delay in Western aid to Kiyv is playing into the hands of the Russian army, the publication’s authors said.

A reminder that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz this week. According to Zelenskyy’s press service, the Ukrainian president gave Scholz information about the priority needs of Ukrainian defenders in armored vehicles, artillery and air defense.

We shall remind you that Russia has started using new tactics to shell Odessa. Whether there is a possibility to protect Ukrainian cities from attacks by kamikaze drones, we wrote about it in this material.
