Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said that in case of Russian aggression against the Baltic states, Russia will be defeated. However, he noted that the liberated cities would resemble Bakhmut and Avdiivka
Kuleba argues that in the event of Putin’s aggression against the Baltic states, they will bravely defend themselves against “an enemy superior in both experience and capability.” He is confident that NATO would probably need a few days to decide how to respond to such a situation.
“In the end, I think NATO will prevail. But look at Bakhmut, look at Avdiivka – this is what the Baltic States will look like after intense fighting. This is what your cities will look like. Vilnius will no longer be beautiful,” Kuleba said.
The minister emphasized that the cheapest and safest way to prevent such events is to support Ukrainians who are fighting against Russian aggression.
He added that Lithuania realizes this and that is why it so actively supports Kyiv.
“Others pretend that they can avoid it,” the foreign minister said.
Earlier, the Lithuanian security services presented a report in which they noted that Russia might wage war in Ukraine for two more years. They also said that Russia was preparing for a long-term confrontation with NATO by strengthening its military capabilities in the West.
