“We aim to work closely with our German partners on this and other issues to support Ukraine,” the Kingdom’s Foreign Secretary David Cameron emphasized in response to a question from Süddeutsche Zeitung about London’s readiness to help Berlin resolve the problem.

As a possible option, a circular delivery scheme is being considered, where Germany would transfer Taurus missiles to the UK, and then the latter would send Storm Shadow cruise missiles to the Ukrainian armed forces.

“We are prepared to consider all options to maximize the effect in the interests of Ukraine,” Cameron said.

The minister refused to disclose details to “avoid giving information to our adversaries about our plans.”

In a recent statement, President Zelenskyy said that providing the Ukrainian army with long-range weapons could change the course of the war. He made this statement in response to a question about promised deliveries, including Taurus cruise missiles.
