This protest is not related to Ukraine; it is directed against EU rules and taxes, the agency said. Thus, Poles expressed solidarity with the pan-European actions of farmers opposing excessive environmental restrictions and competition from cheap imports from outside the EU.
The protest led to a complete blockage of both parts of the highway, but they may be unblocked within today.
