He called the elections in Belarus «open and fair».
Lukashenka said that he was going to run for another term at the University of Physical Education in Minsk, where he came to vote in the parliamentary elections.
«I’ll go, I’ll go, I’ll go. Tell them I will go. And the more difficult the situation will be, the more actively they will stir up our society and you, among others. Believe me, this is very important to me. No man, no responsible president will abandon his people who fought for him. Therefore, the more they will stress you, me and the society, the faster I will go to this election. So, don’t worry, we’ll do it the way it’s necessary for Belarus,» he said.
Dictator Lukashenka, who has held power for almost 30 years through election fraud, said that nowhere in the world there are such “open and fair” elections as in Belarus.
At the same time, he noted that the final decision has not yet been made.
«So that even if the current president does not go to the elections, you will remember. And the last everything is remembered. Therefore, this year will be very active, and I’m setting up the society and the whole vertical of power, which has worked honestly and conscientiously and will work until the elections,» he said.
