The occupants of the Russian Federation have launched an active attack on the Ukrainian armed forces’ bridgehead in the Kherson region after taking control of Avdiivka.

The Russian military is trying to “pressure” the logistics of the Ukrainian army, which is now connected to the front line in the south of the country – the Dnipro River. This was reported by the speaker of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, Sergey Bratchuk, on air of the Ukrainian “FreeDom” channel.

“The enemy continues assault attacks, over the past 24 hours there were 14 of them – the intensity has increased.  This is due to operational fervor and the enemy’s attempt to demonstrate its capabilities, about allegedly sufficient resources to attack all parts of the front,” Bratchuk said.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces said that the situation was under control and the bridgehead was being held by the Ukrainian military. The press center of the Defence Forces of Southern Ukraine earlier reported that the Russian army is saving armored vehicles on the left bank of the Kherson Region, however, it does not spare human resources during attempts to attack Ukrainian positions.
