According to the new law, the note “immediately” in the summons means that the person must come to the place of appearance indicated on the card no later than within six hours of receiving information about the announcement of general mobilization or the beginning of military actions.
The law also specifies that those who are summoned and fail to appear for military service will be punished by imprisonment for up to 3 years, and those who continuously evade the obligation to perform military service will be punished by imprisonment for up to 5 years.
