“The Netherlands must realize that the whole society must be prepared in case something goes wrong. We should not think that our security is guaranteed just because we are 1,500 kilometers away,” Martin Weinen told De Telegraaf.
He also recommended that civilians stock up on food and drinking water in case of emergencies.
