On May 16th , the Syrian migrant and five more of his countrymen climbed over the fence at the Belarusian-Polish border. To do this, they had in advance received a ladder on the Belarusian side, for which they paid $100 per person.
However, the group was soon detained by border guards on the territory of Poland. After checking their documents, they were taken by car back to the border, where they were forced to return to Belarus.
Subsequently, the Syrian still managed to get into the EU, now he is in Germany.
The Syrian has filed a lawsuit in which he claims that Polish border guards illegally returned him to Belarus after he illegally crossed the border by climbing a ladder over the border fence. In turn, the Polish Border Guard Service insists that the Syrian has no convincing evidence that he actually crossed the Polish border.
