A French court has frozen the ownership of the Irina Maria villa located in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin on the Côte d’Azur, Le Monde reports. The decision was taken as part of a money laundering investigation.
Formally, the villa belongs to Russian billionaire Samvel Karapetyan, but the real owner of the villa is considered to be a subsidiary of Gazprom.
